I'm new here and trying to put in a wood stove that was givin to me by a friend. Never used or had a wood stove so there may be alot of questions to come. Right now I am having a terrible time obtaining a permit from my town to install it. They are asking for the specs on the stove, I do not have them or an owners manual. Searching this board trying to find answers, seen some info. Called Lee in Chatsworth (a really nice man) but for some reason he did not have specs or anything on the stove leaving me wondering what to do. He said they were built to UL 1482 Standards and to tell them that. Well i did and it didn't matter, they want a piece of paper showing the specs for me to get the permit. I did research and found little. I can put this stove in my house?? Right?? It says All Pine Barren Stove Co. stoves are Registered with BOCA (RR#79-32) ICBO (TL-115) and is Certified by ETL Testing Laboratories...

Why can't I find the specification pamphlet or manual anywhere, even the main man?

If anyone has a manual or any kind of info to help me get a permit I'd GREATLY appreciate it!!

I believe this stove is a Piney II

27" overall length
27" from bottom of stove to top
18 3/4" wide (stove)
5" legs
10 3/4" x 10 1/4" top door opening
10 3/4" x 5" bottom door opening
4 damper? knobs (2 on top door, 2 on bottom)
Glass window

Thanks again
