......a bit dusty and maybe a bit more ashes but in my Harman P-38 I`m getting a noticeably higher flame that is significantly bluer in color at the same settings than with any other brand pellet that I have burned previously.
Yes , obviously with a bit more heat.
They are in a white bag , probably a soft /hard mix from what I gather.
I haven`t yet tried em in the PDVC in the workshop but I will eventually.

I am burning a bag of Lig's right now ... Your right the flame is extreme, heats the house nice!

What are you guys paying for the Lignetics?

double post....

I purchased a bag in NY for $4.69 to try out. Heat and ash was good but the pellet length worried me a bit. Lots of long pellets in the bag I had not much for fines though.

Tractor Supply in my area is selling them for $204/Ton. So far, I like them too.

These are my go-to pellet in the cold winter months. I have burned 3-4 tons in the last three years and they are great, low ash, no clinkers seen ever, and a hot flame.

I pay in the upper $200's for these per ton; about $259 - $279 in MA plus delivery.

Yous guys in the north east are lucky. Those are $6.59 a bag here. I haven't bought any. I'll stick with the $3.49 per bag Somersets.

Not lucky everywhere in the north east. The only place I have found them locally is the local hardware store.. they want $6.98/bag, $5.98 for 10-49 bags or $4.98 for a 50 bags or more. That is still $250ish/ton. :-(
We get hosed.

I got spoiled with the old lignetics before the conifer was added to the label. The latest still burns aweful hot, But the ash content was more than I expected. Still a burnable pellet if you can score them for a good price. Unfortunately there not a deal in my area. Price is rather high as most sell by the name on the bag and nots what is in it. $265 per ton was to steep for me. But if the price ever equals out?

You are talking the green label ligies, Right? I was told the blue labels were pretty bad!

$7.50 bag True Value here bought one bag to try love them only can't afford the price.
Really burn hot will stick with what I have been getting.

true value in windsor ct has them for 269. a ton kinda of pricey these days i think . they also store them outside i do believe.

Of coarse prices are regional. I remember Gio saying pellets are pricey his way. So if the ligies are reasonable. There heat will match many!

We are pretty spoiled in our area. Lots of different brands with a wide range of prices. With some careful market sampling, We can usually find the sleeper in the crowd. But when some area's only have a few to choose from, Its a bit harder. Just have to burn what you can afford.

One Ligies I wished was available in our area is the Ligies softwoods. Don't get to see them anymore.
