WOODBUTCHER

Minister of Fire
Brought in some Old, really large chunks of Ash & sugar maple. Barley fit 3 splits in on a hot bed of coals, opened the air all the way and about 15 minutes later she was pushing the 625 barrier.
Shut her down 75% and she's rolling at about 575 now, time to hit the sack.

A great pic! I've had that same view in the Castine. It's quite a show when you have all the lights off and just watch the stove.

That's a beautiful thing right there. Someday I'll have the Oslo operating like that. Until I'll settle for this.

She maintains a raging 100 degrees F. until I close the primary and watch the ashes blow around.

(ok ok it's not that bad. but it made me laugh)

That's one way to get an overnight burn! Or smolder.....

Great picture, I can watch a secondary burn all night. My wife says I watch the stove too much and its starting to affect our marriage.... I'm sure gonna miss her!
