Might be a "private label" pellet bagged by another company for them. Did you look at the front & back of the bags to see where they were made?

yea...maybe... the writting looks familiar..virginia?

I am thinking(but could be wrong) that there a sister pellet to the Potomac's. I haven't seen them in my neck of the woods yet. I'll keep an eye out for them.

ther were two different bags at the aubochon in norton,ma.the bag in post #5 is one and they also had them in a clear bag.will try to stop in again in the next few days to see what info is on the bags

They are selling those at South Shore Wood Pellets in Holbrook, MA. I haven't tried them but would be interested to hear what others' experience is.

Got them from South shore pellet. Seem to have more fines than most. Using a Lopi Yankee 3rd season. The burn pot overflows not sure if its the pellets or not. Need to open the draft more than with other brands.

OK I have gone thru a little over a ton of these pellets. I had a little problem at the start but figured out, mainly from info here, to give them more draft and they have been working great. Good heat low ash and the glass is staying very clean. I am heating an old colony house with old windows with a Lopi Yankee.
