Well... Twice now I have ranted about less than honest posts. Both times I have been stopped technically, ISP and On-board. What do you do when the stupid gets too much and you can't hold it back??????

take a deep breath, then proceed with caution.

Hand-split elm.

Imagine a story without any embellishment, bars would be such boring places.........

Imagine a bar where everybody spoke the exact truth without holding back in case anybody got upset............

Now imagine a bar where a little nerd swaggers in and boasts about how he just split 3 cords of oak before lunch..........

There are places where embellishment can add something, but when you get a nerd spouting a load of bulls@@t it's time to do something........

Just smile, go outside with him, and split a few rounds of birch, then give him the axe and a nice knobbly bit of oak and stand back ;-)

As the Zen master says, you just did it!

I try to realize that we all have anger, opinions, and misunderstandings, and that rudeness is a human failing that comes from discomfort and insecurity. To the degree we can be gracious, kind, and fun, we make the world a better place.

Do your best to cope, and lean on friends when you need to.

By the way, great avatar!

Working with wood is a very thereapeutic way of blowing off steam.
