Hi all and happy holidays. I have put firebrick in the bottom of my Resolute, I cut them to fit in between the ridges. Is there any reason that I should not do this. I love the stove.
Thanks in advance
john
Assuming none of the air holes are blocked, probably no harm. You'll need to keep ash build up under control or the rear holes may get covered more quickly. What was the intended benefit?
None of the holes are blocked and they are only an inch high. I don't think I lost any of the firebox. Just hoping to protect it a little bit. Thanks for the response.
