How much do those stoves cost? Very modern looking but really just a barrel with tubes?

If those tubes surround the fire box then there must be no refractory on the sides to help keep the burn hot. I bet you must let in a lot of primary air to make it burn hot and clean. Does the thing even have a secondary burn?

Bruno III with 21 KW
The Bruno convection stove, depending on the particular configuration, is well suited to provide cozy warmth for several rooms or even entire levels of your home. Using a secondary air-inlet, it reaches an efficiency of 75%. Due to the nearly complete burning of the wood, ash disposal is unproblematic and less frequently needed. The convection stove has no grate, and therefore, no ash pan. Combustion takes place solely on the ash, which should be maintained at a height of 5 ? 15 cm. In general, it will be necessary to remove this with a small shovel 1 -2 times per month. Noteworthy elements are the large loading door and viewing area, which even in the Bruno 00 has a diameter of 35 cm.

Why it's GREASED LIGHTNIN'!!

Greased+Lightning.jpg

I dunno man. Some of you guys are die hard traditionalists.
I think it looks kinda cool, almost (gulp) cute. Certainly racy. Vroooom vroooooom, ahh s__t, it's not an engine, that's a chimney fire.

Definitely LOL literally from some of your comments. It's a good thing I wasn't drinking coffee when I read "minor modifications" and "flex tube" and "people seem happy in the pictures".

Thanks Miko! It's great to know that I'm not just amusing myself.

I actually think it's quite cool too, reminiscent of an Elm Stove (look that up), which I think is gorgeous. Too bad its functionality is somewhat doubtful.

Future hearth.com thread.

"What if I attach flex pipes to the tubes and extend them into the bedrooms upstairs?".

Almost spit my coffee at the computer screen while laughing after reading this one.....
For a small extra fee they will probably offer fans for each tube that could help move the air to where you want it. :)

Hehehe... headers standard, long-tube headers optional, and turbo chargers optional as well.

Pricing is in British Pounds or Euros so what is the conversion and also, it says it is available in all of Europe, are there distributors here in the US? I think they look cool and modern with a utilitarian bent to them.

That is nuts, love it!!!!!

BB, do you visit thereifixedit?

f7c9d8ae-a423-4af3-b788-29639139c577.jpg

ThereIFixedIt is a regular destination for me. I get some of my best ideas there--TV floating on an inner tube in the pool, home air conditioner in a car window, etc.

It looks like the Grate Wall of Fire has a competitor!

The site is full of pretty pictures, with only one item under technology--talking about how fantastic those convection tubes are--they make physics work for you!!! Nothing about burn technology, specifications, output, clearances, etc. I think that says it all.

I had friends back in Germany that actually used such a Bullerjan in their store. It was quite large and this stove heated the store in no time. They also had one at home and I'm a big fan of this Bullerjan, cause I know it works great. They put pretty much everything in there that burns and there was barely anything left. Clean out was quick also.

But I have to agree with you, the homepage is really bad when it comes to specifications and data. I was searching the web and all I could find was this here:
