Okay boys...fess up. How many times have you stood in front of a pallet of pellets desperately trying to recall what was mentioned on this site about those particular pellets. "Did these pellets get positive feedback....or lousy reviews?.... think damn it...think"
Busted!

I'm a REAL pellet pig, I don't carry no stinking list. I check the price if it looks good I buy, don't care what kind, as long as it burns. WELL maybe some passups. If the price is on good pellets YAAAA bring em home , stuff em in and burn.

lol, i do the same thing buy as many as i can for that week and stockpile them so when the price goes up next year i can sit back and relax. Of course i do look for better pellets, this year its green team and main choice or something like that

I have Mr. Takeman's 2010 Pellet test book-marked on my droid, I gets pulled up very quickly in those circumstances.

my stove has not even got here yet and I am looking for pellets in every store i go to lol

I did the same thing! Found an irresistible deal on Energex Canadian through the local True Value, $159/ton!!! I bought it on principle, a week before I even decided on what stove to buy...

I think it's official. OCPD has become a full blown epidemic. There aren't enough pellets in the world to cure this "burning" desire for more and more wood pellets. Buying an extra ton of pellets and having them delivered to my doorstep just doesn't do it for me. It's the hunt that I truly covet. That my friends is the epicenter of OCPD.

Are you OCPD if when you wake up in the morning, you immediately kick your wife off the computer and rush over to the hearth.com to see if there are any new pellets on the market for today?

Yep, I have OCPD also. Went to Wally world last week, to pick up bins for the wifes x-mass cookies and noticed that they were selling pellets. Never saw them there before and started to think bins or pellets? well got 2 bins and 5 bags. As the wife said I need Help lol.

You know you have a serious case of OCPD when you're walking through the Outdoor Gardening department at Lowes or Home Depot, looking up at the white poly wrapped pallets stacked in the rafters, wondering "Hmmm.... I wonder if that's top-soil or wood pellets???" Knowing full well that the answer to that question could possibly mean lower pellet prices in the next few weeks if box store inventory remains heavy.

I am the same way. you know its bad when you have a fire place going as your screen saver, cannt find 1 of a pellet stove and I have no clue on how to make my own screen saver.

we are all a bunch of pellet junkies.. if I don't get my pellets I curl up in the fetal position and shake uncontrolably!!!

Yes we have issues!! Once you realize the savings with the use of pellets over oil we all want to save more!! Who would not like to have a little more cash in the pocket this time of year!! Happy Holidays
