I have burned barefoots before with no issues. Have noticed clinkers all season, never experienced this before, i'm burning an 08 Mt. Vernon AE. Moisture test had been suggested to me, but content seems ok. Any other ideas had, has anyone else had this issue?

might just be poor sawdust handling. Getting to the bottom of the sawdust bin and there is more sand on inorganic material the doesn't burn but melts causing clickers.

I've had fairly consistent clinkers with the Barefoots, but with the amount of heat I get, I'll put up with them. I've recently started using Vermonts and the heat is comparable to the Barefoots and Vermonts are MUCH cleaner.
