I really like the Wittus wood burning stoves, but they are too pricey for me. Are there other companies that make similar products with a lower price-point.

Regency, Travis industries,Hearth Stone, and Scan all offer a modern line. None of them are cheap, but you may find one in there that fits what you are looking for.

I have never seen anything like that before....... it maybe be a one of a kind.

I'm very interested in one too. Xeoos (Germany) holds international patents on it. Wittus is the US distributor. I emailed the factory a few months ago, congratulating them and asking when a model would be made that us mere mortals could afford. They didn't bother writing back. That's a clear signal, it will live in the stratosphere of unaffordability for the forseeable future.

Agreed. I bought a contemporary Morso 5660 insert and it was $3600 on sale. Liner and install were extra. I love it. Regency now offers a contemporary insert. The Alterra CI 1200 and 1250. It looks sweet! I think its around $2500 or so. I am quoting Canadian prices.
Good luck.
