I have a quadra fire castile pellet stove in cleaning it I noticed the thermocouple cover seems to be chipped on the top and although I can't see very well the underside maybe cracked. Is it critical where it must be replaced now or can I wait until the end of the season. Should I replace the entire thermocouple or just the cover. Also and recommended places to purchase it?

Thanks for any advice

I would recommend to replace the cover before the thermocouple gets damaged, cover is a lot cheaper than a thermocouple. If the stove is running correctly right now the thermocouple is probably ok.
