convection blower work on the Enviro Empress? Can it be adjusted? I read the entire manual twice... I don't see anything on it. Going out of my mind here... Thanks A

It floats with the heat range. The free standing stove has an on/off control for the convection fan. The insert doesn't seem to have a convection fan on/off switch.

There should be a button to turn it off, but the stove will turn the blower on to cool itself at some point. The output level is determined by the heat setting, not for you to decide.

Thanks Guys, I guess the newer units don't have that option to turn off the blower on the control panel. Mine has the combustion blower and the feed rate on there but no on/off for room blower. Oliveone if you happen to call Enviro can you asked them if the free standing empress has the same control functions as yours when it comes to the convection blower (room blower). I had the unit burning in manual mode on the lowest setting but was not getting blown.... OOPS LOL

ANDY40 when I call next week I will ask about both stoves and post here.

My Windsor has a sensor that kicks the convection blower on around 120 I believe. The Windsor was the predecesor to the Empress and from what I have seen, pretty much the same stove. My Windsor is from 2003 and runs great, although I think it is a pellet snob. The blower will only run when the thermal jacket temp trips the sensor. I'm assuming you are trying to control it more than the stove will allow you to.

I'm so use to my Harman allowing to control the fan speed.... I guess it's something to get use to. Oliveone said he will call to find out more info on the blower operation. Thanks for the info gyingling.

I still have to post some pics on the new install but I still have some things to finish up first before I do so..
Thanks A

Called Enviro and they will not give out info. I have to call the distributor. I called BAS Sales at 518-828-6363 it was lunch time and got a VM. I will call back latter today.
