I was bored..lol..and I know my glass was dirty,to hot to clean and the Saints lost.

Ah, simple pleasures.

Always glad to see some hot, flame on flame action. ;)

Thanks for the post. I hope to have one of these before next winter. It is nice to see what I am getting into.

Most of the time you won't get ghost flames..but you can make it do it..lol.
But they will happen on their own at times.
My wood is not seasoned like it should be...so I get a lot of cat activity.
I peg the cat a lot and don't care..I'm giving it a work out while it's under warranty!
My stove top temps never get to 600..normally 350- 450 unless I push it some.
Stack 8 inches up on a cruise it reads 200-250.
Pushing the stove I have only see 450 as a high(stack)...usually 350 with the air on 3 or so...but I never leave it on 3.
usually 2 or less.
Filled at 10:00 last night..maybe 2/3..still going on that load...wood will be gone in another hour or two..then I will heat off coals for another couple hours.
So far..I would buy this stove again!

The thermostat on mine does seem to be slow acting like others are noticing.
Could be because my wood is not seasoned the best.
I don't know how far the thermostat can open when the stove calls for more heat..pretty soon I'm going to open her up and see how it works..lol.

I love the dancing flames!
Me too!

Turn the tv and all the lights off..Captain + Coke in hand.
Crank her wide open for awhile then slam her down...then repeat..including drink.
