Just got a couple bags of Maine Choice to try from Paris Farmers Union, wondering how they will compare with Maine woods.

Let us know.

Both great pellets. I burn the maine's choice every day
Great heat, low ash. I also have run a bag of maine woods through
My stove. They seem to burn just as hot but with a little
Less ash. I would not hesitate to burn either pellet
On my stove. But the maine's choice is $3.74/bag
And the maine woods is $6.00/bag.

Couldn't have said it any better, except I bought my Maine Woods pellets for $199 a ton.

I received ½ ton of Maine Woods with my insert and have gone through about 12 bags. I am very pleased with them as well, good heat and low ash. I would like to try Maine’s Choice as well but my local Lowes does not have any.

I just switched to Cleanfire and they are burning hotter than Maine Woods and producing less ash, at least for me.

I have never tried the Maine Choice. I was going to try them. I saw them at Lowes, but they was all gone when I went back to grab some. I will know soon enough one the MWP's. I have two tons coming Friday. Hopefully I like them. $199 per ton delivered.

Just got down to the Maine Choice at the bottom of that part of the pile, started mixin 'em in with the MWP. Gotta say, the Choice don't look anydifferent than they did last year, seem to burn the same, not showing any effects from being stored over the summer.
