...to test the installed T6!

Warmer weather will be around later this week.

I know it's selfish, but you just don't understand the delight of seeing your inside temp hit 74, while your thermostat is set at 68.

Well, YOU do cause you burn, but.... ....nevermind. ;)

I'll try to get some pics posted.

Ok, so i have added the pics, are you convinced?

I still have work to do, but I installed the hearth my self.

That is 3/4 masonry board that I will be putting some kind of rock/tile on in the future, we just haven't found zactly what we want yet.

I blew up the room that it is in and that is one of the replacement windows, and I still have some piecves of dry-wall to install, but I want to run an electrical box over to the that wall, and I figure that it will be easier to do while the drywall is still off.

Oh, and that is a pan with granola on it that my wife decided to toast on the stove as opposed to in the oven.

Looks Great. That baby looks like its going to put out some serious heat. Enjoy.

Thanks KatWill!

Now I am spoiled with burning free 2 yr old wood that creates less smoke than the match that I lit it with ;)

So glad I started collecting wood, before the stove was installed, Seems to make all the difference with the burning.

double j, smart move on the wood. You're several steps ahead of most in that regard.
Ok, I'm convinced.......or maybe this is someone else's stove install. hmmm. j/k
Nice setup. I love those stoves, and we'd love to see the pics of the final product. No hurry this time. :cheese:
Enjoy the granola. I cook oatmeal on the stove quite often, and soup too.

We played a board game last night.

The last pic is my favorite!!!

I am loving the woodheat!!!

Nice install! What's the name of the game?

It is part of the settlers of Catan series.
"Trails to Rails"

I would recommend getting/playing the settlers of Catan first.

This games takes us 3 hours or so to play. Lots of fun though.

Looks good. Pretty stove. I like the raised hearth too.

Thanks.

It still needs the back wall, and the Oak wrap-around the front that is going to match the window trim, but that is a project for another day.

The nicest thing about the hearth is that the stone was all free.

A neighbor was moving and I happened to be in the right place at the right time, and they asked if I wanted the slate lying around.

One wet saw rental and 3 bags of mortor later and VOILA a hearth was "raised" ;)

Even better!!! That's my favorite 4 letter word that begins with F. Be sure to include some pics when you get it wrapped up

You might want to pull up a chair, this is going to be a while... :)

I'm going to be too busy scrounging firewood to be nailing trim or hanging drywall!!

Plus there are some frozen waters that need their fish population culled.....
