Anyone seen this yet?

I went to the site but its in German and I couldn't figure out if they had English on it.//// What, Holtzvergasserkessel isn't a common word around your house? lol. If you use Internet Explorer you will be given the opportunity to have the page translated. I saw it on Ebay & have never heard anything about this boiler. The Lambda sure does kick up the price, well worth it though. Good luck, Randy

Bears a tremendous resemblance to the Vigas (enough to make me think it may be the same) which is available through one of the forum sponsors.

This is a good read....I really like the infrared pictures of the storage tanks being loaded and how keeping the tanks stratified makes all the difference in usable water temps.

I emailed them about the Vigas and this was the response.

The VIgas wood log boilers are not the same. They have a similar appearance but the boilers we sell are specially developed according to our guidelines.
They have special features that the Vigas boiler does not have!

Ja, it's completely different, it has a shiny chrome handle, Randy

Do not most gas boilers and oil boilers look the same?

Why would it be different for wood?

That unit looks exactly like my Vigas. I have found at least one other company that has a unit that looks exactly the same.
(control board, blower, shelf for firebrick, nozzle, handles, etc...)
Either the patent process in Europe is different than here, or they might just be replacing the badging on the unit and one fabrication
company/plant makes them all.

More likely they buy components manufactured by others who also supply their competitors.
