Have been burning Greenway pellets with good results for the most part of this season.

Went to Wood Floors Plus to re-stock and discovered that their price has jumped from $189.oo a ton to $209.oo, and the manager said that they are going to go up again when the next shipment comes in.

My brother said that he had burned about 5 bags of Stove Chow, and that he thought they put out just as much heat as the Greenway's or better. So we went across the street to Home Depot and picked up 2 tons of Stove Chow for him at $187.oo a ton.

When I got home I called around to get the current price of pellets in my area and the results per ton were;
Energex American $265.oo
Hamers Hot Ones $265.oo
Somerset $265.oo
O'Mally's $265.oo
TSC Hardwood Heat $240.oo
Greenway $209.oo
Stove Chow $187.oo

My brother gave me 5 bags of Stove Chow to test, they burned GREAT and produce less ash than the Greenways.

My brother wants me to hook up the trailer and go get 6 tons for him tomorrow while Home Depot still has them for $187.oo.
I can carry 2 tons in the back of the dually and 4 tons on the trailer.

Might make 2 trips and get 6 tons for me for next years stash while the getting is good.

The managner at Home Depot said that they plan to keep selling the Stove Chows at the $187.oo price until at least the end of January. We asked how much longer his store (Glen Burnie, Md) will be handling pellets and he said that they will handle them through the end of February before they stop restocking them.

Just picked up my 5fth ton of Stove Chows at the HD for 187. They are really awesome pellet in my Breckwell P22 stove. Very little ash, low fines(provided that they are not water damaged) and burn very hot.

Here(in Northwestern CT.) are my prices of the same brands for comparision!
If there are multiple prices its because I have multiple dealers selling them

Energex American $240.00/269.00
Hamers Hot Ones $250.00/255.00/259.00/239.00
Somerset $249.00
O’Mally’s $235.00/269.00
TSC Hardwood Heat $225.00
Greenway $N/A (I have seen them at Lowes for $187.00)
Stove Chow $187.oo Lowes/HomeDepot

I just got a ton tonight from HD for $187 drove one hour away to get it because everything around me that is any good is $300/ton. I plan on going back soon to get another.

Out here in the Pacific NW we are seeing prices range from $160 to $230 a ton for premium pellets: North Idaho Energy Pellets, Armstrong SPF, Blazers, Westwoods, Rocky Canyon among others. Most places will throw in delivery if you buy 2 or more tons to boot.

I believe that Atlas (recently closed their plant) still has some liquidation inventory available at or around $125/ton depending on how many you want.

just picked 2 tons of prestos at h-depot which are the same as the lignetics that i am currently burning. had a 10% coupon paid $159 a ton. reg price is $177 a ton lowes is selling the same for $100 more a ton quarter mile up the road. tractor supply has lignetics for $223 a ton bought one 2 weeks ago. around here in sw pa they are selling fast but prices are holding steady. h depot just got the prestos back in they had them earlier and the price stayed the same as earlier in the year

locally made Maine Woods are $199 still. They have been burning great for us this Winter.
Not sure of other prices. Not looking around at the moment.
Stay warm folks!

+4 here now but 74 inside and coffee is hot!
