I have a little over a cord and a half of the seasoned stuff left. Should last me right into spring. How's everybody's supply doing?

Looks like spring here today, and it's gonna feel like it tomorrow. 30's and sap snow.

Say, um, your avitar . . . DHART??

I've got 2+ cords in the garage (cherry, oak) and 1.5 cords of maple outside that's good to go. I also have some ash that I could use in a pinch - but will save that for next year. These temps are not helping.

I'm getting low. About 1 cord left. Burned just under 2. And gave away 1/2 when my parents heater went. We'll see how I make out

I have two weeks worth off the garage + two 10' long x 6' high stacks in the barn which should last at least 5 weeks. Also some random piles of splits and small rounds that I was saving for mid-March till warm temps. I'm hoping that is enough. I have seasoned wood stacked outside if I need to steal. Cheers!

Clearing 2 acer's of woods in a couple weeks WHO WANTS SOME WOOD?

I'm on my first year with three year seasoned oak and I am using less wood then ever. I just finished getting my 2013-2014 supply so things are looking good.

tapping into a new stack - about a cord and a half of super seasoned oak that I bought from guy down the street who was downsizing from McMansion for 20 bucks along with a sweet trailer he sold me for $100 (retails new for $1400) - the really seasoned oak is bleepin awesome - tons of heat and long burn times - I have plenty more thanks to my scrounging efforts that started last spring - this is year two for me and the difference in burning seasoned wood versus green/semi seasoned is like night and day

unfortunately, now my family room is toasty and the family has taken over my good tv to watch "The Bachelor" which is why I am on Hearth.com

I have been burning a lot more than I expected. Running both stoves alot. It will be tight for me, I have been out cutting dead elm and ash that hopefully will get me through till spring.

I put 3 cord in the barn and there is still well over 2 cord in there yet.

Glad the cold snap was shortlived. I burn A LOT more wood once it gets down below 0. My avatar is from my younger days on USCG HH-60J's.

Spent some time on -60s myself. They were painted the proper green though.

OP - The stacks are shrinking rapidly as of late.

I planned on burning four cords per year. So far about 1.5 have burned, but I started in December. I have a bunch of seasoned wood so I won't run out, but it looks like my prediction may be about right.

I have a little over 3 cords left yet. I should be gtg for this year and have a good start on next year.

Burned two cords so far, have two cords left ofgood stuff. And another 2-3 cords that are for next year.

I'm down to probably 1/2 cord. I'm scrounging pallets as well as clearing out dead standing and fallen in my woods. It's going to be a struggle to get through this year. Come spring I want to have at least the next two years split and stacked. I know I have plenty of "already dead" that should be ready for next winter.

Looks like the 3.05 cord of cherry will get us through April (1.3 Left)/ We started with 1.24 cords of Sugar Maple for this season and have about .46 of a cord left plus .31 of a cord of ash if we need it.

We have another .61 of a cord of Sugar Maple, seasoned 3 years if we need it.

Being down south, I vastly underestimated how much woodI would burn on the coldest winter possible, so that being said:

I'm scrounging for seasoned wood. I have about 3 cord 1 year way and 2-3 more 2 year away (willow oak). I am still adding to that long-term supply month to month.
I burned up some standing dead hickory (about 1/2 cord) and got used to that.
My mom and step-dad has brought me some seasoned oak limbs and scrap, and I scrounged some pine and white oak from a friends "campfire" wood pile.

Still have over half of my wood supply for this year.

All good.
