Hi to all, first I would like to say thanks for so much information, what a great site. I have a problem with a 1990 Whitfield advantage II-t stove.
The auger recently stopped on me but i hooked it up to another power source and it is fine. with the help of this site and Dave at woodheatstoves (repair manuals go a long way) I was able to find out it is the "current sensing relay" by moving the wire from the #2 post on the relay and hooking to the #6 post on the terminal block the auger works.
unfortunately I have checked with Lennox and they say you cant get that relay and I need to by an upgraded circuit board. I am wondering if I can leave the stove hooked up in this configuration and not replace the relay? or has anyone an idea of where I can find one? part # 12125902. Thanks for the help in advance.

Often components can be crossed referenced. But I will need more info to go with. Could you snap a picture of the relay with the label and part number visible for me?

By the way, Welcome to the group. :)

Be sure to report back to the forum when you get it installed, and the stove is up and running.

BTW, have we seen a pic of your stove yet?? :cheese:

Its nice to know they are available. just an update I took the stove outside and pulled the firebricks out and the ash was to the top. an 1'x1' inch hole at the top on the right. I cant believe it even ran I have ran it for 3 seasons, I would never have known if not for this site. thanks . well better get back to raking my pine needles, I like the trees but them needles are a ...hm.

well I received my part 20 min ago, hooked it up and the auger motor works with it out stove.it is dark now so i will wait for the wife to hold the light so I can see what I'm doing. pictures to follow.and when I turned it turned on ASHES went everywhere. them damn baffles behind the brick cleared in a hurry. next time i will plug it in when it is outside after the thorough cleaning. lol live and learn. thanks... more to follow. :)
