okay, but have you gotten into the rear chamber to clean it? It was used 3 mos (and how long this winter?), as well as moved and shaken around when transported, settiling things even further into parts that need to stay open. Before you start cutting holes in your house (even though an OAK is a good idea) to try to get this thing to work, download the manual and learn how to get in there an douche it out... then do it. I bet you'll notice some increase in performance outta the thing.

Thanks for all your insight, I will be getting a thermometer. This stove is so much different than my jotul i had at my last house, Its night and day really. There is one more possibility my problem could be from. The house this stove is in is brand new and was insulated very well and i even put in triple pane windows. In other words incredibly air tight. Do you think i might need an outdoor air kit to help with my draft? Here are the pics of the stove a at least the interior stove pipe i'll get a pic of my chimney tmr.

snot is running down his nose, greasey fingers smearing shabby clothes. Nice set up Jethro

That's a brick red enamel stove? I think they nixed that color. Very nice.

Yes its the brick red enamel. Also just to let everyone know, I cleaned out all combuster parts very thoroughly. And it is now working better than ever I even have some awesome secondary flames going. Thanks for all your help
