The chain on the back of my Harmon Accentra has popped off. How do I get it back on? Do I unscrew the gear on the motor? Thankls for any information on getting the stove feeding again! I had the chain come off a couple of years ago but cannot remember how I got it back on! I am a female and over 70 yoa.

might be easiest to take 1 of the sprockets off, affix the chain to it, then slide it back on....first though, you should figure out why it came off, i find that build-up in the fines box is the most common thing.

I cleaned the stove this morning & that included the firebox fines. I think I took the sprocket on the motor off to get the chain back on the last time it came off & I think it involved an allen wrench. Back to the stove got to get it fixed cannot stand listening to the oil burner running!!! Thanks for your info!
