we hope the human toll is minimal but the damage to our hardwood forests is extensive...........Darwin's theory

Ya, my neigbor was just saying the same thing. His dump zone is getting very low on wood. Well, I 've got the stove in now and am learning how to operate it. Bring it on, now. LOL. Becareful out there.

I saw this morning that winter storm watches are coming out all over the place. Lansing says 12" or more. Flint says 8-12"

This could get interesting as it should hit about the time my wife has to pick me up at the hospital to bring me home. Might be an interesting ride! Then there is still the snow plowing that has to be contended with. Hopefully she can at least do our driveway...

Not much here today, 23,cloudy & scattered freezing drizzle with no accumulation expected.1 inch snow tommorow, heavier late on Monday with 6-8" & strong NW gusts expected by Wednesday morning.

High of zero to 5 above on Wednesday also.Wonderful. :-S

Sounds like you folks south of us are gonna get another burst of the winter that we aren't getting. Prediction here is for sunny skys and cold all week with a 60% chance of flurries next weekend. Here I sit with a new ATV on a set of tracks and only a foot of snow to play in.........................

Wednesday is the day for our area. The local weathercasters are already in a tizzy, telling us to expect at least a foot of snow. Oh yay.

Just the facts from NC: Sunny and high 60's today. Been out stacking in a tee shirt. I actually do miss the snow.

Temperatures in the 60's I'd be out riding my bicycle! As it is, today was one of those bundle up days. Danged cold but sunny.

I wonder if Al Gore is freezing?

Over 100 Million people will be affected by this snow according to the Weather channel. Man this winter has been a harsh one. Thank God for wood, pellets and generators. and of course good health.

This should keep everyone buzy wood or not!

I had a hunch something was coming in early lastweek. I spent the weekend moving more wood, got gas for the generator, plow truck is full and waiting.
The local weather clown is saying up to 1" of ICE
Bring it on!!
Jeff
