U shuld B pisst at the Europeans not pellet companies. A HUGE percentage of Georgias pellets are being exported.

I know. I called up two of the companies to see where their distributors were and they very politely told me that they ship every last pellet to Europe. I guess we'll be buying pellets from China next. I can imagine what they would be made out of with 1.3 BILLION people!!!!!

I just got this vision of "Soylent Green" brand pellets. I don't even want the think about what is in the clinkers! Ouch!

No need to be pissed at the Europeans. It looks like they are having some cold winters and they probably like a nice warm room too.
I'd rather be exporting our goods, bringing money and creating jobs over here instead of importing cheap crap from China, sending money and jobs out of the country.

You can't have if both ways.

Great Film.

You will be buying pellets from Walmart made in China or so that was the plan this past spring - hasn't materialized yet but Im sure it will.
People get all up set about price and think not about Quality
Be wise BUY in the Spring or AS soon as Possible as the majority of cost is FREIGHT
Try to buy American for a couple of reasons mostly to support our own economy.

Here's something else people dont "get" about wood pellets and densewood bricks -
Manufactureers can only produce so much an hour. They only have X amount of recycled wood waste
to work with. If the wood waste supply is spreadout over the year more can be produced. If everyone waits to buy it in the Fall and Winter you will pay higher rates and watch as dealers run out of product.
If you buy it in the spring and early summer you are helping the manufacturer keep product
out of inventory reducing their cost and that savings gets passed along to the consumer. Most Dense wood Mfgrs have ZERO business in the Spring and summer
Try paying rent when you cant sell anything. Buy now for next winter as no one knows how high the price at the pump will go. Or wait and pay higher rates and run the risk of not being able to buy it at all.

Propane is the same, higher in the winter, lower in the summer.

A lot of my suppliers are sending out fuel surcharges, just over $3 a gallon last time I filled up, I was in the UK in January, $8 a gallon.

I know that if you buy in bukl you can get contract prices for pellets. Just need a large silo.
