Thank you. What a great product and a great price. I ordered my box after trialing his sample offering. I've still got a half puck left.

Got my 100 ct yesterday, dang that is alot of starters!!! Brought some to work to hand out some free samples of my own to some Non-Hearth.com members. They were like, "What the heck is that?". Followed by a huge thanks. Future Supercedar customers are born.

One of the guys texted me and said that this was the easiest fire he has ever started and the first time without smoke in the house.

That big box of 100 w/ no wrappers arrived via FedEx this morning.Since I break each puck into 4-5 pieces minimum (plus use all the crumbs too),that should last me 2 seasons easily....

Rutland safe light squares. 144 for $11.00. they work as good or better

It's hard to conceive of anything working better than SuperCedars do. Also, most people break them into 4-5 pieces, so that's 400-500 fires. . .or you could use a knife to cut it into 6 pieces, which is what I assert would be the SafeLite equivalent of 1 Super Cedar, ~ 6 squares. Looks like a bag of 144 squares weighs 4.9 lbs, so each square is ~ 0.5 oz. 6 squares ~ 3 oz, which is probably not too far off from the weight of 1 Super Cedar. I'm saying that it would take 4 bags, 576 squares, to approach the value of 100 Super Cedars, which cost $55 delivered. 4 bags of squares would be $44 + shipping or + your time and gas to buy locally. I find your argument against the value of Super Cedars to be weak. Nice threadcrap. :)

Ive used both, and they are both great products. The rutland is available to me locally. Ace hardware sells them.
