we have a vermont castings intrepid and the two boys, ages 15 and 13, have nicknamed it "The Kindling Burner."

POS.

I guess since I call the fire and light show Caveman TV, then my stove would be "the 300 plus pound, six hundred plus degree television set". Kind of old school though, the "screen" is only 17". At least the finish is more modern...no woodgrain...except on the inside :)

As of yesterday and today it is now the Mutha F stove. End of story

At least it's not B@W (Burnt and White), but O@W (Orange [fire wise, not stove wise] and Warm) :)

And it's the LATEST technology 3-D LIVE!!!
I don't think I would want a bigger screen than that!

I sometimes refer to it as the beast. Sometimes I'll call it the Oz. Usually just all it the stove.

Country Flame named mine pretty well from the factory. However, I cannot type out what BBF stands for in my house but, it is big, black, and, well, never mind. :)

I call my mansfield the "Big Rock" and the fireview is "The Stove". I have no reason for it. Just how it came to be

I refer to our Oslo as the Norse goddess of fire. Unfortunately, there isn't one as far as I can tell. so I don't have a better name. I worship her, nevertheless. as she is kind and generous, and never gets angry regardless of our sins. The old VC was most often referred to as THAT #$&%&#@#*$@**%@$&T%#$@&T^@$*@!#$((!)) STOVE!

It's woodburning nirvana these days. Put wood in. Be warm. Repeat a few times a day, no strain no pain no drama. What's not to like?

My wife and I keep wondering why we didn't toss that old #($%(#$^(#)@)#$@) stove out many years before, aside from the excitement it brought to our lives in the winter. It sure is boring to just be warm and cozy, by comparison.

My Quad 4300 Step is known as "Bubba". My prior Harman P61-A was known as "Oscar".
