I will be at about 4 1/2 tons this year. I burned all Hamers. Good heat, with a little clumping ash issues.
Anyone burned this year's Lignetics (green writing on bags) Hardwoods?

I can stock up for next year with Lignetics at 209/ton, or Hamer's at 224/ton.
I was thinking of picking up 5 or so tons
what would you get?

Get 2-3 bags of the Ligs and do some test burning before you commit to a large amount.

I just picked up 10 bags of Lignetics. I am going to do a good cleaning this weekend and try them on a fresh stove to give them a fair test

Well, there you go. If they burn good, you'll be saving yourself $75 over the Hamer's

that's a great price for lignetics (if they perform as good as before). I have a local Ed's Harware store asking $270....are they NUTS ...!!!!!

What state are you in? I would buy all you can at that price. I have a hardware store with True Value buying power behind me and and am a dealor for them. That price is well belowe my dealer pricing. I suspect some one has miss marked them at that price.I sell mine at $270 a tone also.

I was getting Ligs for 189.00 ton at a local amish store. Then I found stove chows at HD for 187.00. I save the ligs for warmer days and burn the sc on cold nights/ days. I have had no problems with either of them.

That's nothing my local ace wants $310.00 a ton, or
$7.49 a bag.
That's Crazy

I would buy as many ligs as I could at that price, in MA the cheapest I can find them for is about $270/ton. I have been using them for years and are the best pellets that I have found for my PB150 boiler as of yet.
