Hi everyone,
I have a 2007 quadrafire castile and it
Sounds like my auger / feed motor is grinding I disassembled the auger assemblywas not bound up with fines or anything else. Might need one soon .
Where can I find one that's not 170.00 . I am willing to spend around 100.00.
Thanks for any help that comes my way.

My quad was a 1.2 RPM merkle and I think you could get them right from there site.

Another is the Gleason Avery's A901. The Gleason Avery is built a bit better with bearings on the motor, Not bushings.

Could you post the numbers off the motor and check the direction. If you do need to change the direction its pretty simple to do. You just need to flip the stack over. Hope this helps!

The motors you referenced look nothing like what I need ,my is about 3.5 in diameter and 3 inch in height
