All I can say is UNREAL!!!!

I have had 2 Englander stoves over the past 6 years and finally tired of the constant cleaning, carbon scraping from the pellet delivery tube, noisy motors and marginal heating......I went on a hunt for a better stove based upon the many reviews I have read here and other places on the internet. Believe it or not, I picked up a second hand Austroflamm Integra, circa 1993, and I can't believe the difference. First and foremost, the Integra has quality written all over it from it's ball bearing motors to it's heat exchange system. The stove is virtually silent, occasionally you can hear the auger motor but only occasionally. The combustion motor, well I cant here it running and the same can be said for the room air blower! I am holding the great room in my house at 74 degrees with the stove just above the lowest setting, 14 foot cathedral ceiling and 1000 sq. feet, mind you it's only 13 degrees with winds at 25mph.

The gentleman I bought the stove from was the original owner, he paid $2200 in September of 1993, burned a ton of pellets per year, hasn't run it in over 2 years and had it professionally cleaned yearly. Looks brand new to boot.......best part, $800 bucks which included approximately 12 feet of pellet vent, ceramic logs, flexible pipe cleaning brushes, owners manual and all receipts..........man I got lucky!

I will be listing the Englander on Craigslist soon with the hopes of receiving $800 and will include the vent pipe I received with the Austroflamm!!!!

Just wanted to share my excitement as my wife couldn't care less....................

Best pic I could get, I think it looks better in person. I am planning on painting the white removable stove top ASAP!

It looks like the beginning of a beautiful friendship. It looks like one heck of a big stove, which explains how it can heat the big room so well and in such cold weather. It's really lucky to come across someone who's willing to part with such a valuable and well maintained machine, and at a great price!...(but who can compete with the price I paid for mine? only $50.!) I practically got it for free. Now I'm a happy camper enjoying real heat for the first time after 11 years of using a heat exchanger that comes with big electric bills. But mine is anything but quiet. My room blower has a rhythmic rumble, kind of like a purr, every 2-3 seconds.
