Hey all,
Here's the issue...service my stove and replaced ESP after Harman sent me the recall ESP.
Now, the feed switch wont work right and releases to many pellets so theres no clean burn. Tried contacting Harman, but they are a joke, horrible. Thinking control board?? Any ideas? Thanks

check all inlet and exhuast passages... betcha air flow is incorrect thus not letting pellets burn fast enough. It's hard to overfill those burnpots.

How old is your P61? Is this something us P61A owners should be concerned about?

It's only 2 years old...I dont know about the P61 but I have horrible dealings with Harman reps and their customer service. I won't be buying any of their stuff ever again. Just my experience with a 1 month old and 2 yr old kids and no heat

not top add fuel to any smoldering fires, but why did HARMAN send you an ESP rather than getting it from your dealer? There are a number of reasons a unit might overfeed, the ESP of course is one....sometimes its as simple as where the probe is placed.......does it overfeed in Stove temp mode?

The first thing I think of on a P61 or P61A is sawdust buildup in the feeder body box or something else holding the slide open. Have you removed the wingnut and cast cover and vacuumed out the feeder body? Checked the slide system, gear motor, microswitch for proper operation?

Been a Harman dealer for ten years, never heard once of an ESP recall. Depending on what board end ESP you have, the #5 dipswitch needs to be on or off.
