Hello all....

Really liking both of these stoves and there's a couple available to me.

My neighbor has the Accentra-2 and I'm impressed with the stove.

Of the two listed...which would be a better choice.

Thanks for your help.

I really like my Advance stove - in my opinion it has more positives than negatives, although someone else could weigh in on this too. I've only had mine for a couple months, but I like the Advance for the looks, small footprint and output. It's fairly quiet and seems to burn different types of pellets easily. However, because it's a more compact stove than most, it takes a little longer to get inside and give it a good cleaning. Also the left window glass pane soots up very soon after you've cleaned it. Can't give you a report on the Accentra, but like I said, I'm very happy I got the Advance.

out of the 2 you mentioned, I'd get the Advance.

I have the Advance which I purchased used about 5 years ago. Its think its one of the first ones made. Other than a new auger motor it has ran great. The glass does get dirty fast though and like any pellet stove its happier when kept clean.

The glass of the advance will get dirty faster, but is a better burning stove in my opinion. The accentra is too compact and more frequent to burning dirty in our experience.

The Accentra is the smaller unit & will give you less heat & it costs more because of the castings.
If you're installing in a corner, the Advance has a nice looking bay front for three-sided viewing...
I guess it's your call...

did you look at the p-43? It is a nice little stove also.

for compact stove: accentra w/ the cast iron hearth pad. For higher heat output, the advance will do almost another full lb/hr of pellets max. Both are about the same fuss to clean, so its a wash there.
