Soupy,

Sending positive thoughts and vibes your way. What part of CT are you in? I'm in Manchester. PM me if you need a hand with anything.

-Gil

Prayers and best wishes for the both of you.

From L.I.

Hang in there soupy. The little brown haired girl hit the floor the first time in 1996. Been an invalid ever since then and passes out if she stands up for fifteen or twenty minutes. We needed them going in, they need us now.

Give our best to your wife.

God Bless you and your wife. Prayers from Vermont.

You and your wife are in our prayers. May God give you comfort.

Thank you for helping to make me humble before lent. I deserve to get my ass kicked for stomping around this house tonight complaining.

You sharing your story has helped me with my perspective and the very least I can do is say a prayer for the Mrs. and you as well.

I am praying for you and your wife soupy. That must be very difficult. I am a prayerful man, and you both will be in my prayers.

My heart is overwhelmed.........thanks for taking the time to state your desires for us, and your prayers.
I am truly overwhelmed........

We managed to get all the water up from our basement, after the flooding, and we are holding our breath for the rain coming tomorrow and Friday.

Hang tight, my friend. Somehow, we as humans seem to be a resilient lot. Positive mojo heading your way from the Midwest.

Here too Soup - will pray for you at Ash Wed. mass tonight - God bless. Cheers!

So sorry to hear this Soupy and for sure both of you are in our prayers.

Unfortunately I've known a few folks with this terrible disease. It is not easy for sure, but just know that she really needs you a lot now. Be there for her and with you and the rest of us praying, good things can happen.

This forum truly is like no other forum that I have ever been a part of . . . it truly is like a large, extended family . . . where we care about guys who get severely injured while cutting a tree . . . and guys who have lost their father . . . members who have lost a spouse . . . and members who have had a beloved pet die . . . members who have gone in for surgery . . . and for members who have sick spouses . . .

People come here to learn about burning wood or figure out what is the best stove to buy . . . those who stay however become part of the family . . . in a bond that for whatever reason is more than just the fact that we all burn wood.

What I'm trying to say in my long-winded way Soupy is that we all care for you and your wife . . . and wish you both well . . . and are keeping you both in our thoughts and prayers . . . along with a few other members here who are also going through some tough times right now.

Will do Soupy! Nothing in the world like the power of prayer. Thank you for being someone that believes in it.

I too have had way to much personal experience with the dreaded MS. I pray for your strength Soupy, don't be afraid to hit the knees and ask for help, it will get you through this. I am glad she has you by her side, for better or worse, in sickness and in health. Your calling has been made and you are now her angel. She is truly a lucky woman to have you through the tough times.
