What would you add to your stove?

Auto-loader.

I would add a big mother cook top so there is enough room to put a whole bunch of pots....with lots of good eats in them......also some type of dryer apparatus (very long one) to hang unmentionables to dry, (women always have tons of those...we change often unlike others) very long one because those things may go up like a torch....yeah the auto loader would be nice too, but me thinks its pushin it....good luck on the new stove, I really like my 13......she keeps the place warm and the furnace never ever turns on.....he is in hush mode for now.... :lol: and thats the way me likes...

Yeah a keg lol.. I will definitely end up living in the wood shelter lol.. I would like beyond a keg a thermostatic air damper that actually always worked so I could have a set it and forget it stove.. Great for those windy days or fires that burn too hot or not hot enough.. Hmm if I had that then what the heck would I do with myself all winter besides lug wood? Ruh roh here is where the keg comes into play.. I think I'll just adjust my air myself to avoid living in the wood shelter!

Gamma, my wife hates driers for some odd reason other than the solar drier we have but that works best during the warmer months. For the colder months she does use the wood stove. A couple of clothes racks and one thing she uses for hanging shirts and things like that. I don't like it in the house except for the fact that it does add needed moisture. I usually try to find plenty to do outdoors when she washes clothes.

What would I add--oh the questions,,,hmmm:

1- two stainless steel pans to boil sap
2- A small area for pistol shooting
3- A cook top- along with a cook
4- Hula dancing dolls on each corner
5- Christmas lights
6- BrowningBar's auto loader
7- a flat screen tv on the pipe.

Dennis, I bet she hangs stuff outside in warmer weather....nothin like clean sheets from the clothes line....the smell is unbelievable.........so fresh....takes me back to my childhood......way back...

On a 13 or when I grow up a 30.

can think of many funny answers, but i think the best answer so far is the dhw coil. why not capture even more benefits from the stove??

hehe... rig a still. Nothing like some homemade moonshine to cap off a long day of splitting. not like you need your vision for that, right?

My old stove had a huge ash pan that I could dump half the firebox full of ash into at a time or a bunch of coals. I had a lot less ash dust with the ash pan. I would also like a second blower to get a little more heat out into the room from the sides of the insert.

An addition for more cubic feet!! If the 13 was 18" by 18" that would be awesome

The person that loads it, cleans it, carries the wood, stacks, splits, etc.

On the PE... not much, it does an awesome job. For the 13, a 2 CF firebox... it'd be heaven. And I'd opt for a hot water heater on either.

This reminds me of an old blues tune called "NoMoney Down 'bout trading in a broken down old ford for a cadillac and and telling the dealer about all the options it needs to have . My first choice would be an anti ash dust option or maybe a husband who was more concerned about dusting.

For some reason (perhaps my weirdness), #4 made me think of a slight variation. How about a bobblehead of Vanessa? (Some of you will know who I mean.) That way she can constantly affirm that my top-down technique is good.

Adjustable base or adj legs. It needs' to go up 16" Eng-30

Maybe a catalytic combustor add on so I could use my stove with either a cat or secondary burn . . . maybe add on some nice stonework . . . in other words I'll be really curious to see Woodstock's newest creation when it's final design is unveiled to the public.

On the BKK:

I would like to install one stainless steel secondary burn tube, in an east-west configuration, in the back 1/2 of the firebox, with a pre-heated air supply that is independent of the existing thermostatic controlled air. That way, I could set the stat on <2 and burn off some smoke before it gets to the cat. It would liven up the firebox a little, for my viewing pleasure. I think it would work fairly well, and wouldn't require much modification to the stove.

But it is new, and I don't really want to drill a hole in each side. If I had a lot of disposable income, I would experiment with this idea.
