So, let's forget the Utah bricks with their huge BTU variations and questionable fuel source. This also solves the discrepancy between the Utah and the Ohio data.
Have you found the website of the factory that makes these Ohio bricks. Are they being made of saw dust and chips or of something else?

The ECO brick is the TRADE MARK of UTAH mfgr. If you look at the bricks the ECO in OHIO mfgr is slightly different then the ECO in UTAH eitherway there is a problems with ECO in OHIO using a similar mark as you and Musky hunter have discovered and UTAH folks are not happy. Long story short - UTAH makes a 6" sized bricka nd Ohio makes a almost 10" long one. You guys are dead on with the BTU oput put and the weights
If you notice anyone using the ECO on their brick as there is more then one gets around the TM by mispelling the word brick but it seems to me why would you TM your product and not go after every company using the name>? Its not a fun process and its not cheap to get a Registered TM
