Ok so the bottom auger was running sometimes and the top was running as it should. Still bottom will come on sometimes and now the top auger isn't currently working.

I fired it up and was all excited for some heat because the bottom auger was actually working and funny thing was no pellets coming down so I checked the top auger and it isn't turning. We were going to swap out the top for the bottom but never did because I thought the one (bottom) had finally just gone out but it's working again this afternoon.

We're going to take it back apart tomorrow night and go back through making sure all the wiring looks good. At this point, I'm wondering if the control panel might be the issue.

Am I missing something here that could cause the top and bottom to work only sometimes?

Also make sure the vacuum switch hole inside the firebox, right hand back side is clear of ash (this is a very small hole that is missed when cleaning), if it is blocked the top auger vacuum switch will not activate.

Well everything is working now except the one auger motor that is still working only when it feels like it. We did switch it to the top now. Duh moment there because the reason the original top auger stopped working was because it was jammed by the bottom not working. So much crap has been going wrong lately that I didn't give it a thought. Anyway, I have to just cross my fingers and hope for heat at any given time we need a fire till we can get the cash to buy another motor. Tax refund would have been great except for the fact the IRS has their heads firmly planted somewhere other than working on the tax refunds. Seems if you happened to take the first time homebuyers credit for 2008 your refund might be in for a lengthy delay. Sort of unhappy about that.

Wanted to say thanks for all the help!

CSH INc, $56.00 for a 1 RPM motor, flip the c frame over to make it run CCW
Just got my Auger and Combustion Blower, in the mail this past Tuesday. Works like a charm and they were cheap.

So CSH Inc. x2

NICE...I bought that auger motor last year and it works great and is still very quiet......good deal.....

Thanks the price is MUCH nicer on those motors. It says I can specify clockwise or counter. Do you know which it is to choose?

I didnt choose, Did not know that I could. Good Find... It needs to turn CCW if you are facing the Auger. Or CW is standing behind it. At least on my 15 yr old stove. Mine came backwards, took all of 2 minutes to take out the 3 screws to take off a flip the C-Frame as smwilliamson said. Going the right way now. Runs real quiet. Think I am gonna replace the other one, and put the old one on the shelf for parts.

Looking for opinions regarding the A082 and/or HB-RBM120 blower assemblies. As I understand it those are SLEEVE BEARING motors whereas the OEM motor (at least on my Quad) is a C-frame ball bearing motor. My biggest concern is longevity especially in the intense heat involved in pellet stoves, will the sleeve bearings hold up? Also wonder about noise, my original has rubber vibration dampers on the motor mount, those two do not.

Was going to buy an RBM120 from CSH until they went and raised the price $50 to $150. I just can't see spending that much on a lower quality motor, it was overpriced at $100 IMHO.

What is CSH Inc, I need some contact info please. Do they have other parts Im in need of an control board for a 2001 25-pdvc. Thank you

CSH sells motors, fans, etc. Don't think they sell control boards for anything. www.cshincorporated.com/

As for the Englander board, unless you stumble across one on eBay, I think you'll have to contact Englander....they run about $220.00
