Rumor has it that PE is going to introduce a new line of stoves under a new Vancouver line. The stoves in this line promise to be state of the art hybrids offering cat/secondary optional burning. There will be no smaller stove but the largest will top 4 cu ft. Styling is said to have been contracted by Pinafarina of Italy. Heating efficiency is supposed to be stunning, at greater than 85% They are also supposed to have a revolutionary new self-cleaning feature, thermostatic control and a ductable heat exchanger on the largest model. The stove is expected to be shown at 2012 HPBA.

Pininfarina. And if they did, I'd buy it. I have a Pinin designed car, after all, why not a stove, too?

That is going to be popular. So will the new fireproof paper bag that BK is shipping with their stoves so that you can cover them when company is coming.

can you still run the stove full blast with that paper bag on it? I'ma gonna cut one up and make a suit out of it.

BG, I just found that article. They say efficiency is at 99% in labaratory setting with kiln dried wood. Expectations are that real life burning will be in the range of 92-95% with "seasoned hardwood." What is "Tertiary Burn Technology"????

What is that now, 4 different manufactures coming out with so called cat/non-cat hybrid stoves? Woodstock, Lopi, PE, and VC so far, who's next? So much for that good old cat vs non-cat debate we all enjoy so much every year.

Originally they were going to call it Turbo Incendiary Technology but they got some complaints for some reason.

Hard to believe this is so, but they say the stove theoretically could be connected to PVC pipe it's so clean.

Not sure what the secret is, though it may involved the forced air gasifier. Or maybe tertiary burn is what happens when you touch the pipe? :grrr:

Better than the "Wasted Trivial Fuel" System, too.

Yup, I hear they scrapped their General Overview of the North American Dream Stove too. That's just nuts!

I ruined my keyboard when I lost it and spit my coke everywhere........That is some funny stuff

Those poor folks that just sunk their cash into those butt ugly BK's. Damn shame when something new comes out LOL.

Yea Yea
That article is amazing.
I hope you guys saw the last paragraph in fine print:
Super efficient stove, fantastic styling and with tax break, PE will install and pay you to use the stove.
If you act now they throw in 4 cords of "Backwoods Savage" 5 year old seasoned OAK (delivered and stacked for you)

Tom
