vermont
I have emailed vermont pellet in clarendon for prices and the same with the stove depot. Has anyone else got prices?

Stove depot (rutland) has:
NEWP: 219/ ton
MWP: 224/ ton
Northern: 230/ton
Turman(oak): 256/ ton

Also sound like they are getting the softwood premiums from MWP this summer.

Vermont woods are going for $245/ ton picked up, as of about 2 wks ago they were not running any spring pre buy deals.

I grabbed some NEWP to test and may get a tin for next year, will most likely be going formthe Northers though. Are you close to Rutland?

thanks for the info. I live south of rutland. Live in chester . 11 miles from londonderry the original stove depot

Did the one in Londonderry have different brands?

That's what I thought, I grabbed some of the NEWP's and have no real complaints about them. I may end up using them next season, either that or Northerns.

Are there any dealers down your way that have the Vermont's? There are some places that are selling them
Around here for $270/ton, I like them but at that price I pass, even $245 picked up is pushing it when you add in transport and unloading.

no i haven't herad from anyone else on prices
thinking about buying vermonts. but have gotten a reply from them. But isee you say they are selling for 245.

Yeah, on their website you can go to the mill and get them for $245/ton. I put in the zip for Chester in their find a dealer tab, the only dealer that came up was Friends of the Sun in Brattleboro, they have them at $290/ton. To rich for my blood.

yes mine too. Have a buddy that has a trailer so i can get them with that. i need about 8 tons for the season

How many ton can you get on the trailer? Chester to N Clarendon is a haul, especially with gas pushing $3.75/ gal

should be able to get them all on. six in trailer and two in the dump of truck

Oh nice, makes it almost worth while to make the trip then if you can't find a deal closer to you.

I just got a flyer from HB in Springfield- Vermont Wood Pellets for $259/ton pre-buy.
I live on Chester Rd, so if you could drop off a few tons for me on your way by...

Good choice, I burned 2 tons of them this year and are what I am leaning towards for next year!
