I think the chain was sharpened unevenly and she pulled a little to the left. :eek:hh:

I think it's Mulbery..........oh wait, wrong thread? I think I would cut from the side closest to the house last, and wedge it............oh wait, that was to be posted yesterday. I think I would send the family to Disney while I worked on the tree.

Nice part is you can buck and split it right in the living room and stack it right next to the stove. Less hauling involved..................................

Let's see if your cut-rate insurance covers that one! Mayhem strikes again.

Hey! I haven't been to Ontario since I was a kid!

looks good to me
hit the house pretty much dead center
my luck I would of glanced off the side
doing minimal damage
and causing myself alot of work
this way you just get a new one

Should've used a lighter shade of paint to help prevent solar gain.

Oh wait! I see that's up in Canada. Ok, maybe a shade darker.

ETA: ...and being in Canada shouldn't they have used some of that splatter-on kind of insulation on the roof decking?

I don't see a problem. Lots of people keep plants in the house.

House was not built well enough to endure a direct hit from a Mulberry tree.

Wait a minute! Look where the hinge area on the butt touches the ground and causes a shadow... there are two light spots...those aren't <shudder> the toes on some black leather boots are they...

Ding Dong! The Witch is dead. Which old Witch? The Wicked Witch!
Ding Dong! The Wicked Witch is dead.
Wake up - sleepy head, rub your eyes, get out of bed.
Wake up, the Wicked Witch is dead. She's gone where the goblins go,
Below - below - below. Yo-ho, let's open up and sing and ring the bells out.
Ding Dong' the merry-oh, sing it high, sing it low.
Let them know
The Wicked Witch is dead!

Well, "wrong" is a pretty strong word. I mean they won't have to clean those dang berries of the deck all the time now. Plus they got a new skyligh and picture window.

Always look on the bright side of life...

NOW thats a tree house...........saved the deck anyway.................

The first thing you did wrong was reply to that craigslist ad offering free wood if you would drop the tree.

But you said you wanted to go for the largest skylight! Dang!

Maybe two of the smaller?

It wasn't my fault. They should not have put that house so close to the tree.

I need proof of liability insurance and a photocopy of your license if you want to cut down this tree for free ....

"Honey, remember you asked me to fit a new roof vent........"
