How to replace Auger on Breckwell stove?

I have a 2005 Breckwell P2000i. I think the Auger may have gone bad, but I'm not sure yet. I was hoping to take the auger out and clean it since it might just be jammed. The stove doesn't register any error code lights. The feed light goes on, but no pellets are dropping. I think I can still here the auger trying to work though, so maybe it is a jam.

I'm very new to pellet stoves so I'm trying to figure out how to remove the Auger and wasn't sure from where I need to do that. The stove manual doesn't contain any directions for replacing most parts. I looked around for a guide but couldn't find one. If anyone could give me a clue as to where to start to get this thing out. I assume its from the way back of the unit, but I don't want to go down the wrong path.

Before removing the auger, try to confirm that the auger is actually getting turned by the auger motor. Usually, if you remover the back panel on a pellet stove, and turn it on, you can see the motor run. If it does, then it's possible the auger set screw is loose, and the auger is slipping when the motor turns.

Another way to check this is to remove all but a small amount of pellets from the hopper, enough so that you can see the top edge of the auger itself.....start stove, and observe if auger is moving when motor runs.
 
I removed all the pellets and I can see the auger trying hard to spin.. it moves a few mm, but seems to struggle. And there's a burning smell coming from it too.

Where is the auger set screw located, and what does it look like?
 
If it looks like it's trying, then it's either the setscrew, or the auger motor has problems in the gearcase.

As for the set screw, I just saw in the owners manual that this stove uses a pin instead of a screw to hold the auger to the auger motor output shaft. According to the owners manual, the way to remove the auger motor is as follows:

"remove the auger motor by
removing the auger pin. Remove the auger shaft inspection plate in
the hopper so that you can see the auger shaft. Gently lift the auger
shaft straight up so that the end of the auger shaft comes up out of
the bottom auger bushing. Next, remove the two nuts that hold the
top auger biscuit in. Then rotate the bottom end of the auger shaft
up towards you until you can lift the shaft out of the stove."

And you're right about the manual...it's not much help, as there are very few detailed pics or drawings of anything. You're going to have to figure this one out on your own unless a P2000I owner comes on here to help you.
