stoves been off about 2 weeks
lately it has been
cold and damp here in central ohio
came home , house was 64 degrees
went downstairs and fired up the stove
toasty here now
whats a couple of more bags for the year

My sentiments exactly! It's cold and rainy here tonight. Cold and damp make me miserable, a bag or two of pellets is a cheap cure.

Tomorrow it's going to be in the upper 30's for a high temperature. PLUS it will be raining/snowing with wind. The pellet eater is still burning.

Snow covered ground again..still snowing..I shut the stove down for 1 day so far.
Even the Mosquitoes are shivering.

Same here, we got 9 inches of snow last night and its still cold. I'm still burning full time. Still have 20 bags of pellets left...

They are calling for 79 today in Philadelphia, My stove is off

Not likely to be snowin' in Portlan' today.

Up in the county and in the mountains maybe.

It was boom booming here in the 'burbs this morning.

No snow here in Western Oregon, but the rains are still off and on.

Sunday we shut the stove off for most of the day as it was sunny and nice.
Ran the little stove Sunday night, off Monday during the day and then back on through the night.

Tuesday was the same routine with the stove off all day then on again at around 6 in the eavening and is still on this Morning.

Weather is looking sort of off again, on again, rain, showers, rain, sun and a mixture of all the above.

Last night saw a frost and so did Monday night.

The rest of the week is looking sort of Iffy until the weekend, then its RAIN and RAIN for Easter.

Low temps in the mid to upper 30's F

Have not had to use the Big Whitfield since last week.

I am thinking that the Big Whitfields rodeo is about over for the year.

The little one can handle the place with daytime temps in the mid 50's and then hold it through the night.

Summers coming, I think !!

Snowy

I thought I would be done burning a few weeks back but its still cold here in gloomy western NY snow flurries yesterday 30's at night. I thought I would have a ton left over but if it dont warm up soon I will use most of it.

This is one of the longest cold winters I can remember, been burning since october and its late April.
I picked a good year to put in a pellett stove Im hooked!

It sure was nice to have 80 plus degrees and sun every day last week in Florida.

I agree. this winter is OLD, it can end anytime now, started burning next yrs supply. we are to go to camp next weekend. Starting to think we should have gotten a trailer with a pellet stove.

Stove has been running more days than it's been off.
Last night was in the 30's but wind chill of 21F.
Burning a few bags into next years stash of GT's
so may have to pop for another ton of something
if I can find a good deal.

Just trying to keep you company. :coolsmirk: I'm down to my last bag so feeling insecure with the shortage of pellets on the west coast. When I head home in the mountains after Easter I'll search 5 or 6 big box stores for pellets. :-S Probably have to order another ton from my high priced Ace.
