Is my control board going already? Sometimes when I press the on button it won't come on. If I unplug it from the outlet, plug it back in and then it will work. So, what does this mean?

Chris, occasionally my Englander won't start-up on the first push....a second push always gets it started.

This is from the Englander web site:

"If for some reason the unit does not come on after pressing the "ON" button, the power cord can be disconnected for approximately three minutes. After this time, the Control Board can be re-connected to the power source and you may press the "ON" button again."

Chris I had this problem with my stove after I bought it this past year. I called Englander and the tech told me sometimes the spring gets stuck and if you rub your finger across the button a few times it should fix the problem. It worked for me! It's worth a shot.

I rubbed, I press, I rub some more and press more = nothing, the only thing that works is unplugging it. The problem doesn't happen all the time...
