There is a bill members of the The Northeast Biomass Thermal Working Group are trying to get a vote on. This concerns lawmakers and all that hullabaloo they surround themselves with which brings us things like the $1500 tax credit and such. This a group I support and am active with....PLEASE HELP US OUT. It will take 2 minutes.
Here is the email I received and we need others in New England to join us:

I'm proud to report that over 250 people have already signed our call-to-action letter supporting state and regional measures to grow the market for biomass boilers, stoves, fuels, and equipment in the Northeast. But the sign-on deadline is Monday, May 9, and we still need your help in getting to 500 signatures!
Why do we need so many people to sign on to the letter? Because when dealing with government officials there is strength in numbers. We want our message to ring loud and clear--and this will only happen with a broad base of supporters from across the region.
Already signed the letter?
Send an email to others encouraging them to sign on! Think about your colleagues, local community organizations, business networks, and trade associations that would be interested in this. In your email reference the sign-on link here: http://www.nebioheat.org/signon.asp.
Haven't signed the letter?
Go to the website (http://www.nebioheat.org/signon.asp) and sign on!
Remember, the deadline to sign-on is Monday, May 9.
Our goal is 500 advocates for sustainable biomass thermal energy, and we're over half-way there. Thanks for your support!
Sincerely,
The Northeast Biomass Thermal Working Group (NEBTWG)
