. . . is complete. My buddy brought his tractor over and we drilled the holes and set the posts. A 10'x20' shed looks a lot bigger in my yard than it did in my head.

I have no camera so no pics. And no pics will be forthcoming so cram it.

So the standard "Pics or it didn't happen" post will not be accepted?????

Man, I really wish I had the area in my yard to build a wood shed!

I'm happy to share in the excitement about your new wood shed, but what's with the cram it bit?

I know the burn season is about over, but things will get better...

Sounds like we need an artist's rendition of said shed .. All I see is text therefore it does not exist!

Ray

Once you get it filled with a couple year's worth of wood the size will look perfect . . .

Hey Bigg_Hed, what happen to your last woodshed project? Did it blow over in the wind?
;-)

Don't worry, I'll supply the pictures so nobody has to "cram it".

I think once it is full with a couple of years worth of wood, the size will be too small. Anyone in here have a shed that is not too small?

Sure looks like state of the art stuff to me!

I think my woodshed is perfect . . . enough for two seasons worth of wood . . . it's nice to have that extra wood under cover . . . in case Maine gets covered by a glacier. ;)

12' deep by about 60' long by 8' tall at the short side. I figure it'll hold aboutn 45 cords or 10 to 15 years worth of wood. Is that too small?

I know who he is, but I never did figure out what parts of a pine tree are edible???? Or what kind of grapes have nuts???
It was a very confusing childhood. :-S

Good job getting started.
That's the size I thought of doing, but went with 10'x16' instead. Not quite enough for 2 years with this stove, but should be when I
get the new one.

I went with 10 x 20 for 2 reasons

1) 200 sq ft is as big as you can build in this state without a permit

2) The difference in cost for a smaller shed is negligible

3) It'll hold just over 2 years worth of wood

That's 3 reasons

1) Three reasons is as high as you can count on this forum without a permit.

2) The difference in cost for fewer reasons is negligible.

3) It'll hold just over 2 (or 3) years worth of wood.

I am so disappointed there are no pics but then again I have a camera and can't get the pictures to post right. I guess I'll cram it. :blank:

Ask your buddy to take a picture.
