Greetings,
I have been noticing that about 1 month ago, the airflow in the NC 30 seems to be different in the way the flames dance (sounds pretty kooky already). They seem to be exposed an abberant air current that wasn't there before. I have also noticed that where I used to not be able to hear much of the air moving, I am now hearing more airmoving. I have match tested the welds that I can reach and smoke only seems to be going into the intake in the rear. I have not really been able to reach 700 degrees + but my wood currently is good dry stuff that has been dry for at least 1 year. I cleaned the chimney- barely any creosote. The fiber board is intact, all the burn tubes are clean and secure, the gasket is tight, the door closes well, the stove pipe/chimney joints are intact. The temps in the morning/night have been in the 30s to 40s.
Is this spring burning or a sx of a problem I should speak with ESW about?
As always, input is appreciated.
Cheers,
Ray
