Ashamed to have that old barrel stove in your basement and looking to class it up a bit. Take a look at these creations by Mr. Mayer. He calls his creations pyrariums and some are quite nice. For the ultimate barrel stove, this "Chromy" one takes first prize. And some of his other pyrariums are just plain outrageous. A firebugs delight!

Looks like he forgot to use the flash. %-P

Yep, I just turned on the lights.

Ack! My Droid's on fire! :ahhh:

I like the clean visual lines of this 4 sided pyrarium installation.

 That droid may seem cool and calm on the outside, but it has a belly of fire!

He makes some fine barrel grilles too. And apparently he has a stove that works on recycled gas?

Hope they have a good air wash system with all that glass.

Looks kinda like a combination fireplace, sauna, and crematorium (paste into the address bar and then remove space after the : to view).

That's what I was thinking.
I'm sure you'd be doing a lot of glass cleaning on those things if you used them much.

BG, you sure you don't mean "recycled oil". Never heard of recycled gas before???

Look at the name on the store.

Gettin' inspired. I've been collecting random metal scraps and parts at work, and I'm desperately in need of an outdoor stove for the summer...
Thanks!

Actually, if you don't understand German it looks like something exiting.

If that first picture top left stove is a cast iron frame and all the glass was ceramic...wow. That thing is simply amazing.

Einfahrt or Eingang = Entrance or enter..
Ausgang or Ausfahrt = Exit or leave..

Looks like a welded steel frame to me, but still amazing.

Fahrt= slang for recycled gas. Tonight it is caused by beer, bratwurst, and a Bruins overtime loss.

No need to refuel. It runs on ein farht.
