Also since all these newer stoves have quite a bit of electronics it will save energy.

When I unplug my stove I hear relays click so I think there is some current draw even though it is off.

It is a really good idea to unplug the stove for the summer!

A fellow member CanadianClinker gave me a tip that I really like when plugging the outside vent cap. Once I clean and plug the vent pipe. I use a piece of string, wire or zip tie that fits thru the plug and tag it with"vent plugged" so I don't forget. You need to remove tha tag to plug it in and it forces you to read the tag! Helps with my old age and being senile!
