with all these thunder storms and tornado's don't forget to unplug the stove before you fry the Components.that is if you are all done burning

Also since all these newer stoves have quite a bit of electronics it will save energy.

When I unplug my stove I hear relays click so I think there is some current draw even though it is off.

It is a really good idea to unplug the stove for the summer!

i have been so busy i almost forgot to unplug mine .
 
A fellow member CanadianClinker gave me a tip that I really like when plugging the outside vent cap. Once I clean and plug the vent pipe. I use a piece of string, wire or zip tie that fits thru the plug and tag it with"vent plugged" so I don't forget. You need to remove tha tag to plug it in and it forces you to read the tag! Helps with my old age and being senile! :)
