Called last week to get the budget plan price for 2011-2012 heating season.
$3.69/gal vs $2.89/gal last year
Pellet price went up $10/ton for Maine Wood Pellets.

Dunno but I need to pickup 300 gals later in the morning. I'm hoping it's under $4.00/gal.

$3.199 here in Ct

I've found the below website to be fairly accurate with the current prices.

Here.

Our current price for fuel oil is $3.37 per gallon. We're located just north of Syracuse NY. Kero $3.89 per gallon.

Cheapest I can find here today is $3.699 with min. 125 gallons delivered. So for us on an average winter we would spend about $3k if heating with oil...I'll be grinning ever wider when I see their truck on the road this year!

In Washington state, Puget Sound area, in my town furnace oil is around 3.92/gal for 200 gallons. Premium pellets at the local stove shop are going for 250.00/ton.

Hello

The cheapest oil Co. in sNH and nMA has the prices below:

Most of Winter the prices were not this high!! Why is the price still up there in June!!

In the Dayton, Ohio area the price is $3.549 plus tax of 7% so totals out to $3.797 per gallon. I will finally have to buy some this year as my backup water boiler fuel oil tank is on low.

When on-road diesel prices came down some in May usage rose and distillate inventories declined holding prices up. Over the next three to four weeks they should come down some. Well, that is until a hurricane saunters into the Gulf.

I can get HHO right now for about $3.45/gal >:-(

Unless the price drops off the table in the near future, I'll take a chance and wait for late summer before I fill the tank for the winter.

Just purchased 10 gal's today for 3.67.

I'm sitting on top of kazillions of cubic feet of natural gas here in NEPA and stand a fair chance at having these companies turn my neck of the woods into the face of the moon as they get at it and I'll never even get the opportunity to burn one drop of cheap / local natural gas while the extraction takes place.

For many years that was the case in Louisiana. Towns sitting on top of the top producing wells in the country didn't have natural gas service.

i never buy until october. its always inflated in the summer.

I may be the only one, but I am looking for something totally new to affect gasoline and distillate prices this year. If the ethanol subsidy is killed off then the refining margins for diesel and heating oil are going to race past the margins for gasoline. When that happens refineries are going to shift from G (gasoline) to D (distillate) mode because it will be more profitable. If that happens heating oil prices will go down. And gasoline prices will go through the roof.

Yesterday I talked to one of the tax collectors while registering my car.
He is looking at $3.79/gal plus the mandatory "insurance" for pricing. (Budget Plan)
Total is a cool $4.00/gal. OUCH!
We were slightly above that when we bought our stove back in 2008.

Yep, dropping fast everywhere BUT NY.....cheapest price I see here is CODOil.com at $3.44 for 150-300 gal. I probably can get it about 5 cents cheaper at the local discount place, but that's it.

Also interesting to note is that the oil companies ads in the local rag have all but disappeared.

@#$%^&* New York!!!!

I saw Cash Energy in Saco Me. at $3.19 per gallon yesterday on their sign.

Right around $3.65/gal in Central VT. Havent bought oil yet and probably won't until fall.

I-Mac

Do ya have to also add in another 3% county tax?

Locally ~$3.40 + tax. Yeah, no drop here either!! I've seen DF2 @ $3.50 to $3.80 on this overcrowded sand bar.....
