A quick sotve pipe question

Hi folks!
this is my very first post, sorry it comes at a time of total necessity! I heat my house totally wtih wood, and for all of us that live in the North Eastern US it has been cold the last few days. At any rate the stove that I rely on for the bulk of my heat is an old Glacier Bay, which is in my basement. When I came home from work today, I left the doors open to get it good and hot, and walked away for a minute or two. This is not usually a problem! Well when I came back I found my pipe was glowing in more that one spot, and shortly thereafter began to shoot sparks, small ones but they were sparks! As a result of this I would like to change the pipe, from the stove to the masonry, and without letting it go out I can not get a measurement for the pipe diameter. If any one one of you all, might know the answer to my question, or could stear me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks so much in advance!

Is it the one on the side of left sie of 206 heading northbound? I'm sure firefox in lafayette has it but I try to avoid them like the plague, very very expensive. Do you know hte names of the one in Sparrowbush, I'm not afraid to drive for a better deal? Thanks!

Not John's mower shop, outside of Milford, going up route six towards rt 84? The onlly John's that I know of.
