I have a Resolute Acclaim I need to sell due to a move. I think it's from 1979-80.. It was professionally rebuilt about 5 years ago and used about two full seasons. No rust. I am in Arlington, VA. Any advice how/where to sell it?

Thanks!

-Mike

If you wait until September stoves move pretty well on craigslist around here. If the move is real soon it should still sell, just for less money. And the answer to your next question is around $400.

It sounds like you may have the original Resolute, not an Acclaim. If so, BB is exactly right. The stove sold new for about $400 and will still get that today in peak season if it is in top condition. Hang on to it until at least Sept if you can.

Does it have a single drop down door or split-double door?

Yes, that is the original Resolute. It's a fine little stove. Your price is good, if I lived closer I'd grab it.
