I just wanted to pass this along for what it's worth....
Stopped by the plant in Jaffrey NH and spoke with some folks there....they told me folks will be pleasently surprised by the quality of the stock this fall and winter...
I went ahead and took 3 tons ...I'll let you know how I do.

A local dealer told me just about the same last spring. They(NEWP) heard all our gripes and promised to market a better product. Not sure how many they turned away with what is now water under the bridge. Some users may still hold a grudge. NEWP kind of had a deaf ear to some of the people that bought them and complained of the issues. Only time will tell.

What I sampled seemed to be much better in all aspects. I'll burn them if the price is in line!

NEWP took the complaints seriously. I purchased 1.5 tons off craigslist last fall for short money (real short thankfully), they burned like dirt.
I contacted NEWP and expressed my disapointment with there product. They said no problem and arranged a swap with a local dealer
for my remaining ton of old pellets for new ones. This all took place this spring, unfortunately I have not burned any yet.

I think that says a lot when I bought them second hand and they stood behind the product.

Also this speaks to the subject of quality dealers. One local dealer agreed then renegged on the exchange, couldn't be bothered.
The second was more then helpful, and is on my list of local pellet dealers to do business with.

Hello

Good news, I just snagged a dozen Green Supreme in the clear bag with a Price Match & Military ID discount for $3.55 per bag!

So if they burn real good that is even better! :)
