Probably the smallest scrounge ever, but no way was I passing this whilst out on the bike.............

It was just dumped in the road.

I got a bit more exercise than planned, but I reckon it was worth it ;-)

Thats Awesome!

Thanks woodchip, now I have clear evidence that I am not the only one! ;-P To explain, my wife and some of my friends think I am crazy sometimes when it comes to burning wood.

That looks like a good way to get chapped body parts. I hope you didn't get any splinters.

We need details, man! :cheese:
Was it in log form, like the one on the bike? What did you do, pack one under each arm and ride no-hands?

LOL that's cool Woody!
Did you ride your bike carrying the long log and if so how? That had to be very awkward! Great score for a bicycle..

you need one of those logging arches with a hitch like a kid's trailer. Hmm, come to think of it the little one has outgrown her trailer and the axle was strong enough for a half barrel once...put it behind the tandem and I bet we could skid a decent sized log

I walked and pushed the bike, no way could I perch on the saddle.

I sliced the big bits when I got home, they were surprisingly heavy and too long for the wheelbarrow...... ;-)

Brilliant idea, I'm going to look round here for a cheap or free secondhand one and weld an arch on......... ;-)

Looks like the next British invasion.. First it was the Beetles and Rolling Stones, James Bond etc. now it's hauling wood on a bicycle.. What could possibly be next?
You Brits rock!

:)

Seems to me we had a member here a year or so back that posted pics of a bicycle attached to a bicycle baby trailer loaded with firewood. . . .

Too Cool WoodChip. You da Man!!!!

For some reason it brought the Log jingle in my head. "It's Log! It's better than bad, it's good!!" [any Ren and Stimpy fans in the house??]

What rolls down stairs alone or in pairs, Rolls over your neighbor's dog? What's great for a snack and fits on your back? Its Log Log Log.

Terrific, now I'll have that stuck in my head all day.....

Thats a great use of a bike. That reminds me of the many uses for a bike they have in Uganda and other African countries. I saw planks, water containers, sugar cane and many other things piled on.
Imagine what you could carry on a tandem!

Usually "gotten" do to surrounding environment.

I'm guessin' just about any kind of wood you get with a bike makes it a challenge to keep riding...carry on sirs.
